Linda Stewart Grissom passed away Nov. 17, 2017. She was born Sept. 25, 1949, in Chickasha, OK to James and Hazel Stewart. She attended High School at Capitol Hill in OKC. Linda will always be remembered by her beautiful smile that lit up a room, kind and generous spirit with a work ethic like no other. Linda loved her lifelong career in the retail apparel industry as a buyer, seller and owner. Her creative outlet was spent as an avid collector of dolls and was a member of the Bluebonnet Doll Club for 20-plus years in Plano, TX. Above all, Linda loved her family, friends and business associates beyond measure.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Missy Gunter Fleming, husband Rob, and precious grandchild­ren, Ian, Anna, and Katie; and Ami Gunter Davis, husband Tommy and precious granddaugh­ter Charlie; stepchildr­en, Jennifer Schultz and Jason Grissom; brother, Jim and wife Linda Stewart; sisters-in-law, Sandy and Jan Stewart; as well as nieces and nephews, extended family and friends who will all miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Grissom; Charles Gunter (father of Missy & Ami); and two brothers, Jerb and Don Stewart; as well as other loved ones.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK; with celebratio­n of life luncheon immediatel­y following the service at the Interurban Restaurant, Chickasha, OK. In lieu of flowers, please consider monetary donation to the Alzheimer’s Associatio­n to aid in research for a much needed cure.
