Sept. 9, 1966 - Nov. 19, 2017 OKLAHOMA CITY Julie was born on Sept. 9, 1966, in Nicoma Park, OK to Dean & Genevieve Williams. She gave her life to Jesus and was baptized on July 3, 1979. She graduated from high school in 1984. She passed away on Nov. 19, 2017, at her home with her family. Her passions included her faith in God, fur baby Scarlet, family, and traveling the world with Mike. She loved working out, shopping, and spending time with friends. Julie was very generous with her time and resources; she loved hosting showers, providing meals and, in general, caring for others. She volunteere­d at a children’s cancer hospital and a battered women’s shelter. Julie was loved by all who knew her. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel like they were her best friend. Julie was preceded in death by her dad and mom, Dean & Genevieve Williams; brother, Mikell Dean; sister, Mona Lisa; grandparen­ts, RB & Thelma Williams and Floyd & Birdie Deffenbaug­h; her father-inlove, Don Howard; and her grandmothe­r-in-love, Esther Truelove. Julie is survived by her husband, Mike Howard, of Oklahoma City; her sisters, Gina and brother-in-law David Bowser, of Lewisville, TX; and Leisha and brotherin-law, Chadrick Sparks, of Moore, OK; mother-in-law, Clydene Howard, Oklahoma City; brothers-in-law, Scott Howard and wife Sheila of Mansfield, TX; and Chris Howard; several nieces and nephews, whom she considered her children also; as well as numerous greatniece­s and nephews, and a host of relatives, and friends. At the request of the family, please honor Julie with donations to the American Cancer Society, a charity of your choice, or by taking your family out for a lovely meal in her honor. Visitation for Julie will be Friday, Nov. 24, 1-8 p.m., family to receive friends 6-8 p.m. Services to celebrate her life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, in The Chapel at Resthaven.
