A LOOK AT OKLAHOMA'S SENIORS
NORMAN — Oklahoma’s 17 seniors will be honored during Senior Day festivities before Oklahoma’s game against West Virginia on Saturday. Here’s a look at each:
JEFF BADET
The graduate transfer from Kentucky has started two games and been a key piece in Oklahoma’s receiving corps. EMMANUEL BEAL The juco product has been a steadying force on the Sooners’ defense the last two seasons, combining for 151 tackles.
NAJEE BISSOON
The 5-foot-5 walk-on running back had three carries against UTEP in the season opener.
DIMITRI FLOWERS
The fullback has been a key piece of the offense for most of his career and is having his best season, with 369 receiving yards and eight touchdowns overall.
WESLEY HORKY
Horky has served as Oklahoma’s long snapper for all four of his seasons in Norman, playing in 50 games.
WILL JOHNSON
Over the last three seasons, Johnson has been a valuable piece in the secondary as he’s played several different roles.
ASHTON JULIOUS
Julious has been a special teams staple on the line for the Sooners over the last two season.
BAKER MAYFIELD
Mayfield might not start in his home finale, but he’ll go down as one of the top quarterbacks in OU history.
JEFFERY MEAD
The Tulsa Union product has started 11 games over the past two seasons, scoring four career touchdowns. OGBONNIA OKORONKWO Okoronkwo has been an edge-rushing force for the Sooners over his past two seasons, racking up a combined 17 sacks.
STEVEN PARKER
Parker broke into the starting lineup as a freshman. He has racked 204 career tackles with a pair of interceptions.
DALTON RODRIGUEZ
Rodriguez transferred from Tulsa a few years ago and has played in one game this season.
MATT ROMAR
Started 15 games — 13 in 2015 — but was injured against Tulane and hasn’t played since.
JORDAN SMALLWOOD
The Jenks product struggled with injuries early in his career but has played a complementary role the past two seasons.
JORDAN THOMAS
Though he’s missed the last two games with injury and had a rocky senior season, Thomas has been one of the most productive corners in the Big 12 in recent years, with eight interceptions.
JAXON UHLES
The former walk-on from Norman North earned a scholarship this year and scored a TD against UTEP.
ERICK WREN
The former walk-on earned the starting job at center early last season and has started every game there this season.
