Player of the Year

Macy McAdoo, Tuttle Position: Pitcher

Class: Junior

The Story: The Oklahoma commitment was masterful while leading Tuttle to a second straight title. She overpowere­d hitters with 303 strikeouts and a 0.97 ERA in 195 innings pitched. For her career, she’s already up to 596 punchouts.

Tyler Trott, Little Axe Position: Catcher

Class: Senior

The Story: A dangerous hitter with an even better throwing arm, Trott dazzled behind the plate and at shortstop. The Baylor signee batted .556. Behind the plate, she had just one passed ball and showed off her 71 mph throws to second to deter basesteale­rs.

Kylie French, Harrah Position: Infield

Class: Senior

The Story: It’s easy to rely on the Cameron signee to put the ball in play. She struck out just once in the past two seasons. This fall, she batted .534 with 17 extrabase hits, 56 RBI and 40 runs scored while leading the Panthers to the regional championsh­ip game.

Kady Fryrear, Tuttle Position: Infield

Class: Junior

The Story: Defensivel­y, she is one of the best in the area at first base. She can also hit, which she proved with a .390 average, 18 extrabase hits and 48 RBI for the Class 4A champion.

Delanie Manning, Dale Position: Infield

Class: Junior

The Story: Arguably the most powerful hitter in the state, Manning hit 10 homers and drove in 51 runs despite opponents being cautious to lead Dale to a second Class 2A title in four years. She’s also a dominating pitcher with a 0.93 ERA and 175 strikeouts.

Channing Scallorn, Tecumseh Position: Infield Class: Junior

The Story: Scallorn brings a nice combinatio­n of power and speed, which led to a .437 average, 17 extra-base hits and 33 runs scored while leading tradition-rich Tecumseh to the regional tournament.

Aubree DePron, Bridge Creek Position: Outfield

Class: Junior

The Story: A Southern Illinois commitment, DePron had a breakout season with a .627 average and 51 RBI atop the lineup. She’s also lighting quick with 71 stolen bases.

Brooklyn Kelley, Tuttle Position: Outfield

Class: Senior

The Story: An Arkansas Tech signee, Kelley was the leader for the Tigers’ title run with a .414 average, 19 doubles, five triples and 33 RBI. She also scored 37 runs.

MiKayla Rutland, Dale Position: Outfield Class: Senior The Story: Throughout her four years, Rutland primarily won. She’s helped Dale account for four state titles between fast-pitch and slow-pitch and two runnerup finishes. This season, she batted .447 with 39 RBI and 42 runs scored.

Katelynn Carwile, Purcell Position: Utility

Class: Sophomore

The Story: There wasn’t much the Oklahoma State commitment didn’t do while leading Purcell to the Class 3A title. She batted .444 with eight homers, nine doubles and nine triples. She also struck out 157 batters in 143 innings.

Coach of the Year

Sarah Jones, Purcell

The Story: Jones returns to the All-City team 13 years after making it as a player. In 2004, she led Purcell to its first title. Now the coach, she did it again with a talented nucleus that proved many wrong after entering the tournament ranked No. 11.
