Reunited country duo Sugarland announced this week its hotly anticipated return to the stage with the 2018 “Still the Same Tour,” which will include two Oklahoma stops.

Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush will bring their new live show to 48 cities, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Nashville, according to a news release. The tour will launch May 4 at the Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant, where Nettles performed solo in 2016 as part of the “Next Women of Country Tour.”

Following the trek’s initial Durant casino date, the first leg of the tour will feature opening acts Brandy Clark and Clare Bowen, while Frankie Ballard and Lindsay Ell will accompany the pair for the second half. Ballard and Ell will be along for the ride when the tour circles back to Oklahoma for a July 19 stop at Tulsa’s BOK Center.

Tickets to the Durant show can be purchased starting at 9 a.m. Friday at www. ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000. The fan club pre-sale is live as of this morning. Ticket prices range from $85 to $150. For more information, go to www. choctawcasinos.com/choctaw-durant/entertainment/upcoming-events.htm.

Tulsa tickets also go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and will be available online at www. bokcenter.com, at Arby’s Box Office at BOK Center, or by calling 866-726-5287. Tulsa tickets are priced from $31.50 to $101.

Since the band’s inception in 2002, Sugarland has sold nearly 10 million albums domestically, earned seven No. 1 singles to date and won Grammy, Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association awards. After taking a hiatus from Sugarland in 2012 to work on solo projects and raise their families, Nettles and Bush announced in November that they were reuniting. The pair last month released the track “Still the Same,” their first new music together in seven years.
