Free health screenings set at Walmart

Oklahoma City Walmart stores are providing free health screening services Saturday.

These screenings include blood glucose testing, blood pressure testing, body mass index measurements and low-cost immunizations.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Oklahoma City area Walmart stores.

4-H Clubs join Paper Clover campaign

Cleveland County 4-H members, staff, volunteers and supporters will be participating in a Paper Clover campaign as a fundraiser for the organization.

JOANN stores are also partnering with the organization to hand-make and deliver custom Valentine’s Day cards to J.D. McCarty Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities.

The campaign will take place in 865 JOANN Fabrics stores nationwide from Feb. 1 to 28.

Five Guys Burgers opens new restaurant

EDMOND — A new Five Guys Burgers and Fries is planned to open Monday at 1540 E 2nd Street in Bryant Square shopping center.

The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is the 12th store in Oklahoma.

Boardroom Salon hosts grand opening

Boardroom Salon for Men is opening at 5846 N Classen Blvd. on Jan. 25. There is a grand opening celebration from 4 to 7 p.m.

It is the store’s second location in the Oklahoma City area. The salon is designed to reflect a 1920s country-club theme.

Cocktails and appetizers will be provided at the grand opening.

Express earns best-in-category ranking

For the seventh consecutive year, Express Employment Professionals is the number one staffing franchise in the U.S. according to Entrepreneur Magazine.

The rankings are based on financial strength and stability, growth rate and number of years in business.

Express will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2018.
