The Oklahoma City Dodgers and Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation an­nounced a part­ner­ship Wed­nes­day to bol­ster youth base­ball par­tic­i­pa­tion in the city. Here are some details about the OKC Dodgers Rookie League:

• Four di­vi­sions will be open for boys and girls: 4-and-un­der T-ball; 6-and-un­der T-ball; 8-and-un­der coach pitch; and 10-and-un­der kid pitch.

• Once-a-week prac­tices will be held start­ing the week of March 26, and an eight-week sched­ule of games will be­gin the week of April 7 with games played at ei­ther Wheeler Park or Stars and Stripes Park.

• The dead­line for regis­tra­tion is March 19, and chil­dren can be signed up at www.okc.gov/park­signup (event code 13205), by call­ing (405) 297-3882 or at any OKC Parks and Rec cen­ter. The cost per child is $55.
