The Oklahoma City Dodgers and Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation announced a partnershi­p Wednesday to bolster youth baseball participat­ion in the city. Here are some details about the OKC Dodgers Rookie League:

• Four divisions will be open for boys and girls: 4-and-under T-ball; 6-and-under T-ball; 8-and-under coach pitch; and 10-and-under kid pitch.

• Once-a-week practices will be held starting the week of March 26, and an eight-week schedule of games will begin the week of April 7 with games played at either Wheeler Park or Stars and Stripes Park.

• The deadline for registrati­on is March 19, and children can be signed up at www.okc.gov/parksignup (event code 13205), by calling (405) 297-3882 or at any OKC Parks and Rec center. The cost per child is $55.
