Remington Park hosting job fair

Remington Park is hosting a job fair on Monday. The job fair is for those interested in employment at the track during the upcoming quarter horse season. The event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mazzio’s appoints new president and CEO

Lori Carver was recently promoted from Mazzio’s chief financial officer to president and CEO of the company.

Carver served as CFO for five years prior to the promotion.

“The in-depth knowledge of the Mazzio’s business that Lori has developed as our CFO over the years makes her uniquely qualified to guide the organizati­on through our next phase of growth,” said Eric Selby, board manager and vice president of brand developmen­t.

Perine gives young players shopping spree

Former University of Oklahoma running back and current Washington Redskins football player Samaje Perine recently donated a shopping spree to 10 local youth football players.

The kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Oklahoma County were given $100 Academy Sports + Outdoors gift cards to shop for equipment.

OBI to hold blood drive at casino

The Oklahoma Blood Institute is hosting a blood drive from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at SaltCreek Casino.

The casino is donating a $10 credit to patrons who successful­ly donate to the cause.
