Rem­ing­ton Park host­ing job fair

Rem­ing­ton Park is host­ing a job fair on Mon­day. The job fair is for those in­ter­ested in em­ploy­ment at the track dur­ing the up­com­ing quar­ter horse sea­son. The event is sched­uled to run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mazzio’s ap­points new pres­i­dent and CEO

Lori Carver was re­cently pro­moted from Mazzio’s chief fi­nan­cial of­fi­cer to pres­i­dent and CEO of the com­pany.

Carver served as CFO for five years prior to the pro­mo­tion.

“The in-depth knowl­edge of the Mazzio’s busi­ness that Lori has de­vel­oped as our CFO over the years makes her uniquely qual­i­fied to guide the or­ga­ni­za­tion through our next phase of growth,” said Eric Selby, board man­ager and vice pres­i­dent of brand devel­op­ment.

Per­ine gives young play­ers shop­ping spree

For­mer Univer­sity of Oklahoma run­ning back and cur­rent Wash­ing­ton Red­skins foot­ball player Sa­maje Per­ine re­cently do­nated a shop­ping spree to 10 lo­cal youth foot­ball play­ers.

The kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Oklahoma County were given $100 Academy Sports + Out­doors gift cards to shop for equip­ment.

OBI to hold blood drive at casino

The Oklahoma Blood In­sti­tute is host­ing a blood drive from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mon­day at SaltCreek Casino.

The casino is do­nat­ing a $10 credit to pa­trons who suc­cess­fully do­nate to the cause.
