U.S. homebuilders have been feeling slightly less optimistic about their sales prospects lately.

While builders’ outlook remains favorable, an index that tracks industry sentiment declined in January, after harsh weather caused December new home sales to fall.

February’s National Association of Homebuilders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index is due out today.
