Heritage Hall to host 529 Plan info night

-

Heritage Hall will host an information night Feb. 21 to present details about recent tax changes affecting 529 Savings Plans.

Certified Financial Planner Kendall King, CEO of Castleview Wealth Advisors in Oklahoma City, will discuss new federal legislation that expands 529 college savings accounts to include tuition expenses for elementary or secondary schools, including private or religious schools.

Designed to help families set aside funds for future college and K-12 education costs, 529 plans (named for Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code) are versatile savings accounts that can offer federal and, sometimes, state tax benefits.

Following a brief presentation, King will accept questions from guests.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Heritage Hall Upper School lecture hall, 1800 NW 122. The public is welcome, and admission is free.
