Wichita State men upset Cincinnati

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY.

— Landry Shamut scored 19 points, and No. 19 Wichita State ended the nation's longest home-court winning streak, beating No. 5 Cincinnati 76-72 on Sunday to leave the American Athletic Conference race wide open.

The Shockers (21-5, 11-3) beat a Top 5 team on the road for the first time since 1964. They led most of the way, building an 11-point lead midway through the second half and holding on. Shaquille Morris' dunk with 5 seconds left finished it off.

The Bearcats (23-4, 12-2) had their 39-game home-court winning streak snapped. Cincinnati hasn't beaten a ranked team all season, falling to 0-3 with losses to Xavier and Florida.

ANN ARBOR, MICH. — Jordan Poole scored 12 of his 15 points in the first half to help Michigan take the lead, and it never trailed in the second half against Ohio State.

The Wolverines (22-7, 11-5 Big Ten) beat a rival and helped out another rival, giving No. 2-ranked Michigan State a one-game lead atop the conference standings with two games left in the regular season.

The Buckeyes (22-7, 13-3) have fallen out of first place by losing consecutiv­e Big Ten games for the first time this season.

CLEMSON, S.C. — Gary Trent Jr. hit three foul shots with 1:31 left to put Duke ahead for good and the Blue Devils beat Clemson.

Duke (22-5, 10-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) won its third straight game without Bagley, its leading scorer and rebounder who's sidelined because of a strained right knee.

Grayson Allen had 19 points for Duke, all but two in the opening half. WOMEN
