Beer distributor helps state nonprofits
Anheuser-Busch, a member of the Oklahoma Beer Alliance, recently donated to Oklahoma City-area nonprofits that support children, families, individuals and the community.
“As an Oklahoma City beer distributor, we work and live here, and we care deeply about our team members, neighbors and the strength of our community,” said Matt LoPorto, senior director Anheuser-Busch Sales of Oklahoma.
Anheuser-Busch reported the following contributions:
• $3,500 in support of the Center of Family Love in Okarche, which serves intellectually and physically disabled adults.
• $5,000 to Friends of the Mansion, which assists in providing for the preservation and improvement of the Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion and its grounds.
• $3,500 to City Rescue Mission, which offers homeless individuals shelter, food, clothing and recovery programs that serve Oklahoma women, children and men in need.
• $2,000 to Cavett Kids Foundation, which provides support programs to children with various life-threatening and chronic illnesses.
• $2,500 in support of the 111Project, which aims to help solve the child welfare crisis by mobilizing local churches to ensure no child is without a family.
• $2,500 to the Kyle Lewis Memorial Fund, which is part of the Shawnee Community Foundation and provides scholarships to deserving graduates of Bethel High School in Shawnee.
• $2,500 to The Chosen House, which mentors women by providing them with life skills and knowledge while strengthening relationships to unite broken families, build confidence and make safer communities.
Anheuser-Busch has beer distributors in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, and an Oklahoma City Metal Container Corp. lid plant, with more than 700 employees across the state.
