United Way elects new officers

During its annual meeting last month, the United Way of Central Oklahoma elected new board officers and introduced the newest members who will serve on the organizati­on’s board of directors.

Officers of the board include Carl Edwards, Price Edwards & Co., chairman; Jim Couch, City of Oklahoma City, chairman-elect; Chris Anoatubby, Chickasaw Nation, secretary; and Matt McGuire, Heritage Trust Co., treasurer.

New board members elected to serve a threeyear term include Danny Barth, Oklahoma City Thunder; Gary Brooks, Cornerston­e Developmen­t; Mikeal Clayton, attorney; Tricia Everest, attorney; Gary Gould, Continenta­l Resources Inc.; Jennifer Grigsby, Ascent Resources; Dave Hager, Devon Energy Corp.; Rick Nagel, Acorn Growth Cos.; Jason Sanders, M.D., The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center; and Greg Smith, Northrop Grumman Corp.

New board members elected to serve a oneyear term are Gary L. Brooks, The Brooks Law Firm, and Krystal Flury, United Way of Logan County board chairman.

Board members reelected to a three-year term are Clary Farha, B.D. Eddie Enterprise­s; Steve Hahn, AT&T Oklahoma; Marsha Ingersoll, community volunteer; Carey Joullian, Mustang Fuel Corp.; Jenee Naifeh Lister, Merrill Lynch; Michael Ming, Baker Hughes, a GE Company; Meg Salyer, Accel Financial Staffing; and Terri White, Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Approved ex-officio non-voting members to serve a one-year term are Leslie Crissup, Emerging Leaders co-chairman; Donny Greenawalt, Emerging Leaders cochairman; Stacey Ninness, Agency Directors Associatio­n president; and Karli Stroh, United Way of Canadian County board chairman.
