Egg hunts and other Easter activities for children continue at Oklahoma City metro area churches.

Easter activities continue in the metro

Family friendly Easter egg hunts and activities are set for Saturday and Sunday at metro area churches, including (activities are free unless otherwise noted):

New Hope United Methodist Church, 11600 N Council Road, Beeping Easter Egg Hunt for blind and visually impaired children, children with special needs and their siblings, 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Sponsored by Heartland Council of the Blind, a chapter of the Oklahoma Council of the Blind and the Hearts of Hope group from New Hope. Egg hunt for blind and visually impaired children will feature beeping eggs so children may find them by using their hearing. A second area will be for children with special needs and a third area will be for siblings who may hunt for regular plastic eggs with candy and toys inside. Lakeside United Methodist Church, Easter egg hunt, 10 a.m. Saturday, Tinsley Park, 6600 N Independen­ce Ave. Easter bunny will be available for pictures, hunt age groups include 3 and younger, 4-7 and 8-12. Informatio­n: 843-5777.

First Baptist Church of Edmond, Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt at Mitch Park, 1501 W Covell Road, Edmond, 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, features Easter egg hunts, bubbles, face painting, food trucks and crafts.for all age groups from toddlers to 5th grade. Informatio­n: http://www. fbcedmond.org.

People’s Church, three locations, Easterland theme park, Saturday and Sunday, will include candy, Easter eggs, carnival rides and a petting zoo.
