The South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce recently honored educators and students in the community at the 2018 Excellence in Education Banquet.
The banquet was held April 3 at Moore Norman Technology CenterSouth Penn Campus.
The banquet was presented by Cox Communications; Frontier State Bank; Republic Bank & Trust; SONIC, America’s Drive-In; and Walmart Supercenter I-240 & Santa Fe.
“It was an amazing evening and we are truly honored to support and recognize wonderful educators and students in the South Oklahoma City area,” said Elaine Lyons, South Oklahoma City Chamber president.
Those recognized included: Administrator of the Year, Adam Jewel, Capitol Hill High School; Teacher of the Year, Philip Nguyen, Bryant Elementary, Moore; Student of the Year, Jenny Ha, Western Heights High School; Honorable Mention Student of the Year, Alexis Morgan, Southeast High School.
