TREY GREEN, KINGFISHER
Height: 6-2
Position: Forward
Class: Junior
The story: One of two returning starters from Kingfisher's 2017 championship team, Green displayed his versatility this year. Green averaged 20 points per game while also leading the team in rebounds with eight a game. He played through a broken nose and several chipped teeth in the state championship game, finishing with 22 points on 8-of-9 shooting.
STEPHON HALL, MOUNT ST. MARY
Height: 6-1
Position: Guard
Class: Senior
The story: One of the most improved players in any class this season, Hall doubled his scoring average and helped lead Mount St. Mary to the Class 3A state semifinals. Hall, who is committed to USAO, averaged more than 20 points a game while also becoming a marksman from 3-point range.
LATTARYUS SMITH, STAR SPENCER
Height: 5-10
Position: Guard
Class: Senior
The story: Returning to the Class 3A state championship game, Smith proved he was more than ready for the challenge. The Cameron University commit put on a show, scoring 28 points, including, 12 points in overtime, to help give Star Spencer its first basketball championship in nearly a decade.
JETT STERNBERGER, KINGFISHER
Height: 6-1
Position: Guard
Class: Junior
The story: A returning member to the Little All-City team, Sternberger only improved this season while leading Kingfisher to an undefeated regular season and a run back to the state title game. Sternberger averaged 21 points per game this year while also grabbing around six rebounds and nearly two steals a game.
COACH OF THE YEAR LANCE CUDJOE, STAR SPENCER
The story: A revolving door rotation that stretched 12-players deep, Star Spencer constantly frustrated its opponents with its tenacity on defense, forcing turnovers for easy transition points. A member of prestigious Cudjoe coaching tree, Lance Cudjoe grabs his first state title after leading Star to the Class 3A championship.
