OSU Spring Game Informatio­n

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State will host its annual spring football game at 1 p.m. Saturday inside Boone Pickens Stadium. Here is informatio­n about the admission-free game and other related activities:

Parking

Parking is open across campus with the exception of Lot 4 (north of GallagherI­ba Arena), Lot 10 (west of Boone Pickens Stadium), and the lots near OSU’s baseball and softball complexes.

Food drive

At the south entrances of Boone Pickens Stadium, Orange and Black Gives Back will be collecting items to donate to the Salvation Army. Sought items include canned goods, various dry breakfast foods and snacks.

Pregame activities

The turf field in front of the Sherman E. Smith Training Center will host bounce houses and face-painting stations. OSU players will also take part in a simulated version The Walk, walking from the Smith Center to Boone Pickens Stadium about noon; the university recommends fans gather at Gate 15 on the stadium’s west side.

In-game activities

The game itself will be a scrimmage between OSU offensive and defensive players. The Cowboys’ roster will not be split into competing teams.

There will be a special presentati­on honoring former OSU players, as well as on-field contests and challenges for members of OSU fraterniti­es and sororities. It is recommende­d fans sit on the south side of the stands. Concession stands and restrooms will be open on only that side of the stadium.

TV and radio informatio­n

The game will be broadcast on the Cowboy Radio Network, KXXY-FW 96.1 in Oklahoma City, with Dave Hunziker, John Holcomb and Robert Allen on the call.

Postgame activities

For 45 minutes after the game, fans are permitted on the field to interact with OSU football players, having them sign autographs and take pictures. Pistol Pete and Bullet will also be on the field for photo opportunit­ies.
