Five individuals will be awarded honorary degrees during the University of Oklahoma's commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. May 11 in The Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. In the event of inclement weather, it will be delayed until 7:30 p.m. and moved to the Lloyd Noble Center.

OU President David Boren — the only person to have served as governor of Oklahoma, U.S. senator and OU president — will deliver this year’s commencement address. Because he is retiring June 30, this will be his last time to preside over the ceremony.
