A truck driver has been arrested in connection with a double fatality crash involving multiple vehicles Tuesday afternoon that killed a Yukon man and woman on the Turner Turnpike in northeast Oklahoma City.

Troopers arrested Boyal Satinder Singh, 39, of Sacramento, California, on two manslaughter complaints early Wednesday. Singh was being held at the Oklahoma County jail, according to jail records.

Singh was driving a Freightliner tractor trailer at the time of the crash, troopers said.

Singh has a number of aliases "not associated with criminal behavior," troopers said. County jail records identify him as Gurigbal Singh.

Barbara Ann Homan, 53, and her passenger Antonio Carlos Ibanez, 44, both of Yukon, were pronounced dead at the scene about 4:25 p.m. on the Turner Turnpike a half mile east of Hogback Road, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Ronnie James Melton, 44, of Claremore, was the driver of a pickup also involved in the crash. Melton was admitted to OU Medical Center in fair condition.

The patrol reported the cause of the crash remained under investigation. Everyone involved in the crash wore seat belts.

Another driver, Thomas Thedford, 81, of Oklahoma City, refused treatment at the scene, the patrol reported.

Another driver, Vickie Diane Macias, 54, of Oklahoma City, was not injured, the patrol reported.
