MercyMe concert is reschedule­d for June

A new date has been set for the MercyMe concert that was postponed in April because of inclement weather.

The contempora­ry Christian band with Oklahoma ties will perform at 6 p.m. June 9 at Frontier City, 11501 N Interstate 35 Service Road. Park admission includes entry to the concert. For more informatio­n, go to https:// www.frontierci­ty.com/entertainm­ent/concerts. Other concerts include:

• The Newsboys will perform in concert at 6 p.m. June 30 at Central National Bank Center, 302 S Grand Ave. in Enid. • Contempora­ry Christian group Selah will perform at 6 p.m. July 1 at Crossings Community Church, 14600 N Portland. The event is part of the group’s “God Bless America, America Bless God” tour. The event will feature U.S. Sen. James Lankford, R-Oklahoma City, as guest speaker, a special salute to the Armed Forces, special recognitio­n of first responders and the Voices of Crossings Choir and Orchestra. • Austin French, who competed in ABC-TV’s “Rising Star” reality competitio­n, will perform on Aug. 7 as part of the Thrivent Financial Summer Concert Series at the Riverwalk Crossing in Jenks. French is best known for his debut single “Freedom Hymn.”
