State crashes kill 2 men

Two men from Oklahoma City died Sunday in separate state crashes, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Darrel Lee Wallace, 54, of Oklahoma City

Wallace was driving a motorcycle west on the Interstate 44 on-ramp from NW 10 about 9:40 p.m. Sunday when the motorcycle hit a curb and he crashed. Wallace was then struck by a motorcycle driven west on the on-ramp by Gary Lynn Hatcher, 57, of Oklahoma City.

Hatcher was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital where he was admitted in good condition.

Wallace was pronounced dead at the scene from a head injury. Neither man wore a helmet.

Jacob L. Gordon, 25, of Oklahoma City

Gordon was pronounced dead Sunday at an Oklahoma City hospital following a Grady County crash about 9 p.m. on a county road about 2 miles southeast of Tuttle, the patrol reports.

A passenger in Gordon's car, Shaine C. Coffman, 24, of Tuttle, was in critical condition at an Oklahoma City hospital, the patrol reported.

Gordon was driving a car east when he lost control and went left of center and hit a pickup driven west by a 16-yearold boy from Tuttle, the patrol reported.

The boy was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital where he was treated and released.

The patrol did not release his name.

Neither Gordon or Coffman wore a seat belt, the patrol reported.

The boy in the pickup wore a seat belt.
