Accounting, finance seminar scheduled
EDMOND — Public-sector finance and accounting professionals are invited to a July training seminar focusing on issues affecting governmental practitioners.
The seminar is at 9 a.m. July 11 at the Francis
Tuttle Technology Business Innovation Center, 2824 Progressive Drive in Edmond. The event is hosted by Arledge & Associates P.C. in partnership with Francis Tuttle Technology Center.
The Edmond-based accounting firm will conduct the Government Accounting Seminar for municipal, county, state and tribal government finance and accounting officials and
employees.
The seminar will cover a range of topics from accounting and financial reporting to technology and professional culture. Sessions include fraud protection, best practices for grant closeout, workers compensation issues, internal controls, OPEB standards and more.
The seminar will be led by accounting, finance and
auditing professionals, guest speakers and local consultants. Up to eight hours of CPE credit are available.
