Poker run set to benefit community center

A poker run to benefit the Piedmont Area Veterans Association’s planned community center will begin at noon June 30 at Williams Food, 410 Piedmont Road North. Proceeds will go to the building fund.

The entry fee is $25 per motorcycle and $10 per extra rider. The ride will end at Margarita Island, 8139 NW 10 in Oklahoma City, where the high and

low hands will be determined. High hand will win $200 and low hand $100.

The association is a nonprofit organization that supports veterans, as well as charitable and community events.
