Father’s Day is only a day away, but there are still plenty of local, Oklahoma City businesses offering great last-minute gifts for any dad.

Here’s a roundup of gift ideas that can be purchased today.

For the outdoorsy dad

Woodsman Trading Co. sells handmade flasks ($32), backpacks ($108$240), diner-style mugs ($9.95) and wilderness survival guides ($16-$22). Co-owner Gaylon Cornsilk described the shop, which has only been open for about six months, as “urban meets woodsman.” It is located in The Village at 9705 N May Ave. and is open today from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“We wanted to share that love (of the outdoors) but offering something really different here in Oklahoma City,” Cornsilk said. “So we try to pioneer unique brands and find unique items that you typically don’t see here ... We love working with smaller companies to produce things.”

For the hungry (and thirsty) dad

Oak & Ore offers gift cards and glassware. The beer hall serves brews from the tap from independent breweries and food made to pair well with it. It has vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, and most dishes are around $10 to $14. It is at 1732 NW 16 St. and is open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and will be serving brunch Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For the fit dad

Red Coyote Running and Fitness sells sport sunglasses (around $69.99 and under) as well as muscle ($39.99) and foot ($26.99) rollers for stretching and loosening soreness before or after working out. Red Coyote was founded by runners and has locations in Oklahoma City and Edmond. The Oklahoma City store is in Classen Curve at 5720 N Classen Blvd. and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For the rock star dad

The Jones Assembly offers food, spirits and music, with tickets to most shows ranging from around $27.50 to $65. Upcoming performers include alternative rock band Toad The Wet Sprocket (Aug. 5), folk band Lake Street Dive (Sept. 27) and indie rock performer Father John Misty (Oct. 11).

The historic venue is on Film Row at 901 W Sheridan Ave, and tickets can be purchased from its website at any time.

For the #1 Thunder fan dad

Blue Seven sells Oklahoma City Thunder T-shirts ($24.97-$34.99) and hats ($29.99-$54.97) with catchphrases like “Hustle like Russell,” “Hoodie Melo” and “PG13” in its Oklahomathemed side of store, Just OK. Many of the shirts are made by local artists. The shop is at 7518 N May Ave. and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For the clean-cut (or not) dad

Weldon Jack sells shave oils, creams and balms ($24-$26) as well as beard oil and balm ($24 each), so whether your dad mows it or grows it, there’s a gift for him. The grooming shop is half full-service barbershop, half retail store. It is located at 3621 N Western Ave. and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For the “Damn Handsome” dad

TRADE Men’s Wares offers handmade in Oklahoma City leather wallets ($248.00), “Damn Handsome” coconut porter shampoo and body bars ($12.00) and hoppy mint beer soap ($8.00). It is in Midtown at 1112 N Walker Ave. Suite 102 and is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Owner Daniel McLoud said the wallets are made by local artisans and are “purposefully thought out.”

“We have something for the gentleman or female of every type,” McLoud said. “The fact that it (the wallet) has been handmade means it’s a saddle stitch. So where if it’s (made by) a machine, if one of the stitches busts, it will unravel the whole way, this will actually stop.”

For the movie-loving dad

Tower Theatre screens movies ($10) throughout the week, and tickets are available for purchase online always, or in-person an hour before show doors open. Upcoming films include “Tron” on Monday, “Clue” on Wednesday and “Raiders of the Lost Ark” on Thursday. The theater is located in the Uptown 23rd district at 425 NW 23 St.

For the high-class dad
