Piedmont hires Skokowski
Piedmont recently named Midwest City’s Adam Skokowski its new baseball coach following a monthlong search.
Skokowski coached the previous four years at Midwest City and went 70-69. He was previously an assistant for the Bombers and at Southmoore.
Skokowski had spent 10 of the past 12 years at Midwest City. He replaces Kory Williams, who resigned following the season after eight successful seasons with the Wildcats. He was 187-119 with three state tournament appearances and one state runner-up finish.
“I think (Piedmont) has a great program that Kory did a good job with,” Skokowski told the Piedmont Gazette. “It seems to be an area that supports baseball really well, so I’m excited to get started.”
