Dell to host career fair on July 12

Dell EMC Oklahoma City is set to hire a significant number of employees by year’s end, the company said. Dell will host a career fair at the Dell EMC Facility on July 12 for positions all across the business including Relationship Sales, Enterprise Support and Client Pro Support.

The career fair will be 2 to 7 p.m. at the Dell EMC OKC site at 3501 SW 15 in Oklahoma City. Additional information about Dell EMC’s career fair and job opportunities can be found by emailing OKCCareers@Dell.com.

Prospective applicants are asked bring several copies of resume and a photo ID.

Scott Haworth, Dell EMC OKC co-site leader, said the local operation has hired 150 employees so far this year.

“Our career fair in July is the biggest hiring push we’ve conducted since we opened our doors in 2004, and we are thrilled to bring new talent to Dell EMC OKC,” Haworth said.

Assisted living centers earn honors

Four Oklahoma skilled nursing facilities were named winners of the 2018 Bronze — Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living.

The local winners include Broadway Manor in Muskogee; Eastgate Village in Muskogee; Fort Gibson Nursing Home in Fort Gibson; and The Suites at Elmbrook in Ardmore.

The Bronze award is the first of three distinctions possible through the award program, which honors long-term and post-acute care providers that have demonstrated a commitment to improving the quality of care for seniors and those with disabilities.

“Our members continue their commitment to raising the bar on skilled nursing care in Oklahoma,” said Nico Gomez, Care Providers Oklahoma CEO. “We believe that delivering the best possible services is the right way to do business and the right thing to do.
