The Lady Eagles begin competition in 2019 and will play in the Lone Star Conference, Lynn said.

Sooners land 2019 4-star DB

Oklahoma’s recruiting fireworks continued Friday morning as the Sooners landed their second 4-star defensive back in three days.

Woodi Washington,a

2019 defensive back from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, announced his commitment just 10 minutes after OU coach Lincoln Riley signaled a new commitment with his signature eyeball emoji tweet.

Washington, a Rivals 100 player ranked No. 33 in his class, is OU's fifth top-100 commit in the 2019 class. He's also the 15th verbal commitment and second defensive back in the upcoming class.

The Sooners have been on a recruiting hot streak in recent weeks, earning a verbal commitment from 2019 Millwood running back Marcus Major on June 30 and 2020 four-star defensive back Darion GreenWarren on Wednesday.

The recruiting boom isn't likely over yet. Riley tweeted out an eyeball emoji on Tuesday that hasn't had a corresponding commitment.
