Man’s death may have been accidental
Oklahoma City police Wednesday released more details about what they say might have been an accidental shooting death of a 19-year-old man Tuesday on the city’s southwest side.
Guadalupe Ledezma, 17, was arrested in connection with the death of Emilio Lopez.
Police found Lopez, 19, shot to death about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday outside a home in the 2400 block of S St. Clair Avenue.
Ledezma was “handling a firearm when it discharged,” killing Lopez, according to a police deparment news release.
Ledezma was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a murder complaint. His bail is not set.
