Girlfriend gives police information about killing

-

An Oklahoma City woman told police that her 20-year-old boyfriend met another woman on a social networking site, planned to steal her Xbox, but ended up killing her, authorities allege.

On June 25, the girlfriend, whose name was not released, contacted police and said she was dating Keadrian Moore, who had told her several days earlier that he had killed Monica Ervin-Adams.

On May 1, Oklahoma City police had responded to a home in the 200 block of NW 87 where they found Ervin-Adams, 45, with “multiple lacerations,” according to a court affidavit. Her son, who found her body, told investigators that his mother’s Xbox, cell phone and car were missing.

Moore reportedly told his girlfriend that ErvinAdams had been sleeping, but kept waking before he could leave. He went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, went to her bedroom and stabbed her several times even as she told him he “could take anything she had,” the girlfriend told police.

In addition to ErvinAdams’ Xbox and cellphone, Moore reportedly told his girlfriend that he took the knife and a bloody sheet. Moore abandoned Ervin-Adams’ car around the corner from his girlfriend’s house, having thrown Ervin-Adams’ cellphone out along a highway.

Officers located the car where the girlfriend said it was last seen and had it impounded.

On July 6, Moore was charged with first-degree murder in Oklahoma County District Court. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 911.
