Bethel hires Litherland as new AD and coach

Less than a week after losing its athletic director and basketball coach, Bethel High has found its new man.

Eric Litherland, who spent the past six years at Tecumseh High School, announced via twitter that he would be the new athletic director and boys basketball coach at Bethel. Litherland takes over after former athletic director and coach Bryan Jennings left the school to become principal at McLoud High School.

WPSL announces playoff schedule

The Women’s Premier Soccer League announced its 2018 playoff schedule on Wednesday.

The playoffs begin with the four WPSL Regionals taking place throughout the country this weekend.

Each regional includes four teams and the winners of each regional will advance to the WPSL Championship, which will be held July 20-22 in Norman.

Oklahoma City FC did not qualify for regionals after finishing in second place in the Southwest Conference.
