MidFirst Bank has new president

Todd Dobson has been named president of MidFirst Bank effective immediatel­y, the Oklahoma City-based bank said Monday.

Jeff Records will remain the bank’s chairman and CEO, but he will relinquish the title of president, which he has held since 2009.

Dobson joined MidFirst in 1991. He has served as chief financial officer since 1995 and as a director since 2007. Before joining MidFirst, he worked for seven years at Price Waterhouse. Dobson is a certified public accountant with an accounting degree from Oklahoma Christian University and a Master of Business Administra­tion from Oklahoma City University.

Greg Schaefer has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer. He joined MidFirst in 2000 and most recently has served as director of finance administra­tion. Schafer is a certified public accountant with an accounting degree and an MBA from Oklahoma Christian University. Before joining MidFirst, he was a public accountant for three years.

DJ Morgan has been promoted to senior executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer. He joined MidFirst in 2006 and serves in a senior leadership role over private banking, wealth management and commercial banking. He has an economics degree from Rhodes College and a Juris Doctor and MBA from the University of Oklahoma.

“Todd, DJ, and Greg have been critical to MidFirst’s success during their tenure, and I am excited about MidFirst’s future under the direction of the entire senior management team,” Records said.
