Art & Soul Gala to benefit Guthrie’s Pollard Theatre

EDMOND — The Pollard Theatre Board of Directors is presenting the Eighth Annual Art & Soul Gala benefiting Guthrie’s Pollard Theatre Company at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Edmond’s Oak Tree Country Club, 700 W Country Club Drive.

The event will include a cash bar, silent auction, dinner, awards presentation, live musical performances and dancing. It will precede the opening of the nonprofit theater’s 32nd season, which will open Aug. 24-Sept. 8 with the play “An Act of God” at the Pollard, 120 W Harrison Ave. in downtown Guthrie.

Attire for the evening is business casual, although 1960s and 1970s costumes are encouraged.
