Sweet Adelines’ Rising Star Quartet contest coming home to Tulsa

TULSA — Sweet Adelines Internatio­nal will bring the 2018 Rising Star Quartet contest home to Tulsa on Friday, as 14 of the world’s best young female barbershop a cappella quartets vie for the coveted title of Rising Star Champion Quartet.

The Rising Star Quartet competitio­n will begin at 4 p.m. Friday at the Oral Roberts University Global Learning Center, 7777 S Lewis Ave., and will include performanc­es by include Lustre, 2018 Sweet Adelines Internatio­nal Champion Quartet and Adrenaline, 2017 Rising Star Champion Quartet.
