TUTTLE

Tuttle resident, Wanda Lou Bell, 77, suddenly left this earth on Monday, September 10, 2018. She was born October 26, 1940 in Ponca City to Howard and Beulah (Epperson) Walden. Wanda was a very independent and strong willed woman. She was a single mother to three wonderful children. Wanda was also a mother to all of their friends, and “Ma Bell’s House” was always the place to be. She worked hard all of her life so that her children could have anything they needed. She worked at TG&Y as a money manager and then worked at General Motors, from which she retired. One of the fondest memories the children have of Wanda is their Saturday afternoon Soul Train dance parties in the living room. She loved to have fun, playing the penny slots, listen to music, and spend time with her children. She was a bright and loving person who was loved dearly and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael Ray Harrell. She is survived by her daughters and sonsin-law, Suzanne and Jimmy Brown, and Angela and Michael Morgan; brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Gloria Walden; granddaughter, Shannon Cao and Kevin Hardey; great grandson, Lance Cao; her beloved dog, Oscar; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 3pm-8pm Thursday at Bill Merritt Funeral Service. Services will be 10am Friday at Bill Merritt Funeral Service with interment to follow at 2:30pm at Ponca City IOOF Cemetery.
