Confluence Conference set for Sept. 20-21

The digital marketing Confluence Conference will return to Oklahoma City next week, relocating this year to the restored Tower Theatre.

The conference will be Sept. 20-21 and will include experts in web developmen­t, social media, search engine optimizati­on, content marketing, paid advertisin­g and user experience. Tower Theatre is at 425 NW 23.

“We are beyond excited to bring Confluence Conference back for the sixth year,” Confluence Chairwoman Janelle Archer said. “By moving the event to the popular 23rd Street area, we are excited to give more opportunit­ies for attendees to learn from the best and create lasting relationsh­ips in the digital marketing sphere.”

Speakers include marketing industry leaders Tom Shapiro of Stratabeat, Ruth Burr Reedy of UpBuild, Rachel Mann of American Fidelity and Kellen McGugan of BigWing.

“At the heart of Confluence is the desire to provide access to some of the best marketing experts in the nation,” Archer said. “We want to be all-inclusive while keeping the cost low so everyone has a chance to attend.”

Confluence continues to showcase the best of Oklahoma, encouragin­g attendees to experience culture and commerce in Oklahoma City. In addition to catered meals and sponsored swag featuring local businesses, ticketed attendees are invited to an exclusive happy hour at Pony Boy.

“One of the best parts of Confluence is the networking,” Archer said. “We are working to create an intentiona­l and fun atmosphere where attendees can meet new people and connect with local businesses.”
