The Class 3A and 4A state volleyball tournaments begin Friday at Moore and Mustang high schools.

Here is a look at some players to watch from each tournament.

Macie Noland, Southwest Covenant

The junior outside hitter is hoping to make some noise at the state tournament as Southwest Covenant takes on No. 1-ranked Christian Heritage Academy in the opening match. Noland averages more than 12 kills per game and leads the Patriots in numerous other categories.

Southwest Covenant will play CHA at 10 a.m. at Moore.

Whitney Bowie, Bethany

The junior has been a team leader for Bethany each week as the Bronchos posted a 25-7 record, including winning 12-straight matches to start the season. At 6-feet, Bowie uses her height and leaping ability to patrol the net.

Bethany takes on Tulsa Regent Prep at 11:45 a.m. at Moore.

Olivia Curtis, CHA

One of the top players in the state, Curtis is a dominant athlete who is able to strike from multiple points on the floor. The reigning Oklahoman All-City Player of the Year, Curtis is headed to OU next year where she will play volleyball.

CHA plays Southwest Covenant at 10 a.m. at Moore.

Gabby Gregory, Holland Hall

A two-sport star, Gregory is committed to OU for basketball. Using her size and length, Gregory is adept at blocking opponent shots at the net and controlling the game.

Holland Hall plays Chisholm at 11:45 a.m. at Mustang.
