Delaware Re­source Group con­tin­ues ex­pan­sion plans


Ok­la­homa City-based Delaware Re­source Group of Ok­la­homa LLC an­nounced con­tin­ued ex­pan­sion fol­low­ing sev­eral re­cent con­tract awards.

The com­pany spe­cial­izes in mil­i­tary flight and sim­u­la­tion train­ing. Re­cent con­tracts awarded will push the com­pany into Saudi Ara­bia, South Korea and Ja­pan, in ad­di­tion to ex­pan­sion within the U.S.

“This has been the best year in the 16-year his­tory of the com­pany in terms of con­tract wins,” said Brian Busey, Delaware Re­source Group’s pres­i­dent and chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer.

In Au­gust, the busi­ness was awarded a sub­con­tract to be­gin live flight in­struc­tion ser­vices in Saudi Ara­bia in sup­port of the AH-6 weapons sys­tem un­der a for­eign mil­i­tary sales agree­ment.

“We have en­tered into the live flight in­struc­tion ser­vice mar­ket to fur­ther en­hance our port­fo­lio,” Busey said. “As we con­tinue to grow in the in­ter­na­tional train­ing mar­ket, these are the types of added ser­vices we have been tar­get­ing to set us apart as a to­tal train­ing sys­tems in­te­gra­tor, pro­vid­ing aero­space ser­vices and sup­port world­wide.”

The Boe­ing-man­u­fac­tured AH-6 is a light he­li­copter gun­ship and vari­ant of the MH-6 “Lit­tle Bird” he­li­copter.

“We are ex­cited about the con­tin­ued growth and ex­pan­sion at DRG,” founder, chair­man and CEO Phil G. Busey Sr. said.
