Delaware Resource Group continues expansion plans

- FROM STAFF REPORTS

Oklahoma City-based Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma LLC announced continued expansion following several recent contract awards.

The company specializes in military flight and simulation training. Recent contracts awarded will push the company into Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Japan, in addition to expansion within the U.S.

“This has been the best year in the 16-year history of the company in terms of contract wins,” said Brian Busey, Delaware Resource Group’s president and chief operating officer.

In August, the business was awarded a subcontract to begin live flight instruction services in Saudi Arabia in support of the AH-6 weapons system under a foreign military sales agreement.

“We have entered into the live flight instruction service market to further enhance our portfolio,” Busey said. “As we continue to grow in the international training market, these are the types of added services we have been targeting to set us apart as a total training systems integrator, providing aerospace services and support worldwide.”

The Boeing-manufactured AH-6 is a light helicopter gunship and variant of the MH-6 “Little Bird” helicopter.

“We are excited about the continued growth and expansion at DRG,” founder, chairman and CEO Phil G. Busey Sr. said.
