Cavs agree with Larry Nance on 4-year extension

Forward Larry Nance Jr. and the Cavaliers have agreed to a $44.8 million, four-year contract extension.

The sides had until 6 p.m. on Monday to work out terms for the deal or Nance would have become an unrestrict­ed free agent in 2019.

The 25-year-old Nance joined the Cavs midway through last season after he was acquired in a trade — along with guard Jordan Clarkson — from the Los Angeles Lakers. He helped Cleveland reach its fourth straight NBA Finals and the Cavs view him as one of their core players as they rebuild without superstar

LeBron James.

Nance averaged 8.9 points and 7.0 rebounds in 24 games last season. He's expected to share starting duties this season with

Clippers deal Johnson to Pelicans, waive former OSU star Evans

The Los Angeles Clippers have acquired center Alexis Ajinca from New Orleans in exchange for forward Wesley Johnson.

The Clippers subsequent­ly waived Ajinca on Monday.

Johnson, 31, averaged 5.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 222 games over three seasons with the Clippers. He made 53 starts during that span.

In another move, the Clippers waived former Oklahoma State star Jawun Evans, who was one of a glut of guards on the roster.

The 22-year-old averaged 4.8 points, 2.1 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 48 games as a rookie last season with the team.

Pacers sign Myles Turner to contract extension

The Indiana Pacers have signed 22-year-old Myles Turner to a contract extension.

It is a four-year deal worth $72 million, ESPN reported.

Turner was taken No. 11 overall in the 2015 NBA draft and finished third in the league with 1.82 blocks last season. He also averaged 12.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game

Pistons exercise 2-way conversion option on Lofton

The Detroit Pistons have exercised their two-way player conversion option on guard Zach Lofton.

Detroit also announced Monday that it has waived guard Reggie Hearn.

The 6-foot-4 Lofton played last season at New Mexico State, averaging 20.1 points per game.

Hawks exercise contract options on Bembry, Prince, Collins

The Atlanta Hawks have exercised their 2019-20 contract options on DeAndre' Bembry, Taurean Prince and John Collins.

Bembry, the No. 21 pick by the Hawks in the 2016 draft, made three starts last season while averaging 5.2 points.

Prince, acquired by the Hawks from the Utah Jazz in a three-team trade on July 7, 2016, started all 82 games for Atlanta last season and averaged 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

Collins, the 19th pick in the 2017 draft, is one of the keys to Atlanta's rebuilding process. The forward/ center averaged 10.5 points and 7.3 rebounds and was named to the NBA's allrookie second team.

Knicks exercise option on Ntilikina's contract

The New York Knicks have exercised their third-year option on Frank Ntilikina's contract.

The Frenchman is in the mix to start at point guard under new coach David Fizdale.

Ntilikina will make about $4.9 million in 2019-20 after the move announced Monday.

He averaged 5.9 points, 3.2 assists and 2.3 rebounds over 78 games as a rookie last season. He was taken with the No. 8 pick in the 2017 draft by Phil Jackson

in his last move as team president.
