The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) Central Midwest Region Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $16,000 to benefit Make-A-Wish Oklahoma.

This year’s tournament drew participants from across the Midwest.

“So many AAHOA members and industry partners came together to make this year’s tournament a huge success,” AAHOA Chairman Hitesh (HP) Patel said.

“AAHOA’s local members were instrumental in organizing this great event. Make-A-Wish Oklahoma is such a worthy cause, and AAHOA is proud to help raise money to support their mission.”

Make-A-Wish Oklahoma works to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

President and CEO Chip Rogers said, “This event is yet another reminder of the great things that the hospitality industry accomplishes when it works together.

Promoting awareness of and raising money for a cause such as Make-A-Wish Oklahoma can make a real difference in the lives of many people.”

The Central Midwest Region Charity Golf Tournament is one of four annual charity tournaments held by AAHOA across the country.

During the past few years, this event and other AAHOA charitable endeavors have raised more than half a million dollars for organizations that benefit children, hospitals and work to prevent human trafficking.
