Mick Cornett to sign books

Former Oklahoma City mayor Mick Cornett will sign copies of his new book, The Next American City: The Big Promise of Our Midsize Metros, from 3:30-5 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.

Current mayor David Holt will interview Cornett about the book, and the audience can ask questions afterward. Books will be available for sale at the event. Light refreshments and beverages will be served.

Gallagher-Iba site for "Homecoming and Hoops"

Oklahoma State will host the 12th-annual Homecoming and Hoops on Friday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The event will include several homecoming awards, including the chili cook-Off, sign contest, Harvest Carnival and Orange Reflection.

Admission is free but it is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 8 p.m. with festivities beginning at 9 p.m. Floor seating reserved, the 200 level is set aside for student groups and the 300 level is general admission.

Both Cowboy and Cowgirl basketball squads will be introduced.

OSU announces 2019 baseball schedule

Oklahoma State on Tuesday released its 2019 baseball schedule.

The schedule features 10 opponents who made the NCAA tournament last season, including defending national champion Oregon State. The Cowboys will play 30 home games in their last season at Reynolds Stadium.
