Hovland wins title at East Lake Cup

Oklahoma State’s Viktor Hovland won his second individual title of the fall season on Monday with a victory at the East Lake Cup in Atlanta.

Hovland shot a 4-under 68 to finish one stroke ahead of Alex Smalley and Chandler Eaton, both of Duke.

OU baseball, softball to host Halloween Game

The Oklahoma baseball and softball teams will host the Halloween Game on Tuesday night as part of a fundraisin­g campaign with the Vs. Cancer Foundation to support The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center.

The game will take place at Marita Hynes Field in Norman. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the game will start at 6:30 p.m.

Admission is free and all fans are encouraged to attend in costume.

Wrestling Hall of Fame announces Class of 2019

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2019 inductees on Monday.

Carl Adams, Rich Lorenzo, Brandon Paulson and Townsend Saunders were named as distinguis­hed members, while the the Meritoriou­s Official is David Errett.

The Order of Merit recipient is David Curby and the Medal of Courage recipient is James McCloughan.

Energy FC announces roster moves

Energy FC announced a set of roster moves on Monday.

The club, which currently has 12 players under contract for the 2019 season, agreed to new deals with goalkeeper­s Bryan Byars and Cody Laurendi, and defenders Drew Beckie and Kyle Hyland.

Also under contract for the 2019 season: Goalkeeper Matt VanOekel, defenders Atiba Harris and Christian Ibeagha, midfielder­s Jose Barril, Marco Bustos and Callum Ross and forwards Deshorn Brown and Jaime Siaj.
