The following workshops are at CommonWealth Urban Farms, 3310 N Olie Ave. Workshops are $10 per session, $15 per couple or pair, and free to volunteers unless noted otherwise. The Great Pumpkin Smash,
11 a.m. to noon Saturday. What to do with all those pumpkins once Halloween is over? Bring them and the kids to CommonWealth, where everybody can toss and smash pumpkins to their hearts’ delight to be put into the compost pile. Cost is $5 for adults. Free for kids 12 and under.
Dried Flower Wreaths, 11 a.m. to noon Nov. 17. Learn to create wreaths from dried
flowers and greens with plants grown at CommonWealth. Additional $5 materials fee per person.

EVENTS
Tree for All: Myriad Gardens’ Tree Giveaway and Sale, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W Reno Ave. The first 100 patrons in line on the day of the event will receive a free Eastern redbud. Additionally, trees for sale will be available for $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers with a limit of two trees per household.
