STILLWATER — Oklahoma State defensive end Jordan

Brailford decided to participate in last week’s senior day festivities not because of the end of his career, but the start of it.

Brailford, a fifth-year junior, could return for another season or start his professional career. The Big 12’s leader in sacks, Brailford said he’s undecided on his next step, but he didn’t want to miss the chance to share the moment with other defensive linemen he came in with, such as Cole Walterscheid, Trey Carter and Jarrell Owens. "I think it only felt right,” Brailford said. “I'm not really sure what I want to do, but this is the group of guys I came with. My D-line, class of ’14, I felt it'd only be right that I walked out with them."

McCleskey to transfer to Tulane

Former OSU receiver Jalen McCleskey will transfer to Tulane, he announced Thursday.

McCleskey surprisingly decided to sit out the rest of the 2018 season and use college football's new four-game redshirt rule to retain his final season of eligibility. McCleskey ranks sixth in OSU history in receptions and ninth in touchdown catches.

McCleskey is from Covington, Louisiana, and his father, JJ McCleskey, is in his first season with the Green Wave as a defensive backs coach.

Quotable

Brailford on OSU's motivation for Saturday's game at TCU:

“We’re just gonna come down there and try to end their season."
