Council ballot at issue
The Oklahoma Supreme Court has set a Jan. 3 hearing before referee Kyle Rogers on Steve Hunt's bid to be reinstated to the Feb. 12 primary election ballot, an attorney for Hunt said. Oklahoma County election officials bumped Hunt from the ballot after finding he failed to meet the residency requirement to run for the Ward 5 seat on the Oklahoma City Council. Currently, Kristina Hull is the lone challenger to Councilman David Greenwell, who is seeking his third four-year term.
