OU men's golf takes 3rd in Puerto Rico

The No. 6-ranked Oklahoma men's golf team finished in third place Tuesday at the Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

The Sooners finished with a 280 (-8) to match Georgia and Purdue for the lowest team score on Tuesday. OU finished with a three-day total of 852 (-12).

Georgia won the team title over Georgia Tech in a playoff, after both teams finished with a 54-hole total of 848 (-16).

OSU men's golf in 2nd place at The Prestige

The Oklahoma State's men's golf team is in second place heading into the final round of The Prestige in La Quinta, California.

The top-ranked Cowboys shot a 2-over 286 during the second round Tuesday to fall behind LSU, which has a five-shot lead with an overall score of 9-under 559.

Sooners finish 3rd in Florida

The No. 24-ranked Oklahoma women's golf team took third place at the Moon Golf Invitation­al on Tuesday in Melbourne, Florida.

The Sooners finished with a 54-hole score of 859 (-5) at the par-72, 6,262-yard Duran Golf Club.

Cowgirls take 13th in New Orleans

The Oklahoma State women's golf team finished in a tie for 13th at the All-State Sugar Bowl Intercolle­giate Golf Championsh­ip in New Orleans.

Lianna Bailey led the Cowgirls in the final round Tuesday with a 3-over 75, and finished the event tied for 22nd.
