Bingo for Roses: The Oklahoma Rose Society's annual Bingo for Roses fundraiser is at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Will Rogers Garden Center, 3400 NW 36. Two bingo sessions will be held, and bingo cards are $5 each. Rosarians will be on hand to answer any rose questions. More than 100 rose bushes will be given away. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
VP named: Patricia “Trish” Ingram has been named vice president of operations for Daily Living Centers Inc., an adult day health care organization that operates four area facilities. In her new position, Ingram will oversee operations in Edmond, south Oklahoma City, northeast Oklahoma City and Bethany. For more information, go to dailylivingcenters.org.
Foster families sought: Sunbeam Family Services is asking the community to open their hearts and homes by becoming a foster family. In Oklahoma alone, more than 8,190 children are in state custody and in need of a loving home. Through the Foster Care program, Sunbeam works with families in Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, McClain and Oklahoma counties.
