THE OKLAHOMAN'S CLASS 6A-5A ALLTOURNAM­ENT TEAMS

Here is a look at The Oklahoman's selections for the Classes 6A and 5A AllTournam­ent teams from the state basketball tournament­s over the weekend:

Class 6A Boys

MVP: Trey Phipps, Tulsa Washington Phipps, a Tulsa commit and the son of Tulsa Washington coach Conley Phipps, stole the spotlight from Putnam North's Micah Thomas in the title game with a career-high 42 points. Phipps, a fiery guard, only improved throughout the tournament, making bigger plays each day while helping the Hornets win a state-record 16th title

Class 5A Boys

MVP: Kalib Boone, Tulsa Memorial The Boone twins simply dominated as they led Tulsa Memorial to a third straight title before heading off to Oklahoma State, but it was Kalib who delivered the game-winning layup in the final seconds of the semifinal win over El Reno. He also dominated the title game with 21 points and 17 rebounds.

Class 6A Girls

MVP: Kendra Gillispie, Norman There was no better player in the tournament. Gillispie was an unstoppabl­e force in the paint, bullying her way to the basket for points and rebounds. It started with 29 points and 10 rebounds Thursday. She continued the double-double pace from there.

Class 5A Girls

MVP: Regan Crawford, Piedmont Siblings are a trend this year, and the older of the Crawford sisters shined when it really mattered. She scored 18 points in in the quarterfin­al win over Tulsa East Central, which turned out to be Piedmont's closest game. Regan caught fire for 25 points in the semifinals when her sister struggled.
