Authorities believe they have identified the third victim in a deadly crash on March 8 that took the life a 12-year-old girl returning home from a softball game. Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigators said Tuesday they have tentatively identified Shari Moore, also known as Shari Dockrey, a 55-year-old Earlsboro woman, as the passenger in the sport utility vehicle that collided with a school bus. Investigators said they made the determination after speaking with the woman's family. OHP told The Oklahoman that Moore was an acquaintance of the SUV's driver, John Tallbear, who also died in the crash. The identification is pending confirmation by the state Medical Examiner's Office. Rhindi Kay Isaacs, a 12-year-old Konawa Middle School softball player, died in the crash when the SUV traveling north on U.S. 377 near Bowlegs crossed lanes to pass a vehicle and struck the school bus in which she was riding. The vehicles erupted in fire. Five other children and the bus driver were taken to hospitals, treated and released. They were returning from a softball game in Okema. Funeral services for Rhindi are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Konawa Public School Performing Arts Center. Tallbear was released from prison in June after Oklahoma County prosecutors dismissed a 1992 murder conviction against him. Prosecutors have not said that Tallbear was innocent of the crime. He was arrested Dec. 31 after an officer found him sleeping in the driver's seat of his parked vehicle. Tallbear smelled of alcohol and told the officer he had “pulled over to sober up,” according to a court affidavit. Another officer at the scene found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, according to the affidavit. Following the arrest, he was charged with being in actual physical control of a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged Feb. 28 with driving under the influence and driving with a revoked license in Pottawatomie County. Two breath tests at the Shawnee Police Department showed Tallbear had a blood alcohol content of .16 and .17, police reported.
