Students with disabiliti­es participat­e in summer training

S t u d e n t s from across the state can sign up for innov a t i v e j o b t r a i n i n g programs offered free of charge by Vocational R e h a b i l i t a t i o n a n d Visual services.

S t u d e n t s s e l e c t e d f o r Worki n g o n t h e Wi c h i t a Mou n t a i n s camp are paid to work at the wildlife refuge where they camp out, while developing work skills and job experience, Sansom said.

ALTUS Museum to present show tunes performed by local musicians

T h e M u s e u m o f t he Western Prairie, 1100 Memorial Drive, will host “Broadway Comes t o Altus: Act I I , ” t h e s e c o nd i n a series of three musical performanc­es.

The show will be presented at 7 p.m. June 10 and 11. Admission is free.

S h o w t u n e s f r o m classic Broadway musicals will performed by local musicians under the direction of Donna Tucker. Each performanc­e will be capped at 100 audience members.
