Oklahoma Gardeners Association: 9:30 a.m. Aug. 7, Will Rogers Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36. Steve Owens, owner and operator of Bustani Plant Farm, Stillwater, will present “Great Plants and Cool Ideas for Oklahoma Gardens.”
Workshops
Fairy Gardens: 6 p.m. Aug. 14, Will Rogers Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36. Presented by the Oklahoma County Extension Master Gardeners and the Oklahoma County OSU Cooperative Extension Service. No registration required. Free. All ages welcome.
Composting: 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, CommonWealth Urban Farms, 3310 N Olie. Tuition is $10 per person or $15 per couple. Presented by CommonWealth co-founders David Braden and Allen Parlier.
Succulent Birdhouse Workshop: 1 p.m., Saturday, The Garden Classroom, Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W Reno. Members $55, nonmembers $70. Register by July 18 at myriadgardens. org.
